A down on his luck hustler and a trust fund baby form an unlikely bond when she hires him to help her move past her sexual trauma. But their search for intimacy must survive darker inclinations in a world where love is a commodity.
THE OPPOSITE OF LOVE is currently in production with New York Rep (Church and State) and will open off-Broadway May 2024 directed by Rachel Klein (The Gospel According to Heather), starring Ashley Griffin and Danny Gardner (Flying Over Sunset). The piece received its premiere reading in 2019 at A.R.T. in NYC followed by virtual development from 2020-2022 and at Theater Row in 2022.
